The Metronomad
The Metronomad is a Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist of Pakistani origin. Influenced by such diverse, creative forces as Neil Young, Bon Iver and Jeff Buckley, music is The Metronomad’s first passion. Living and breathing its language every day, he seeks to be a messenger for its powerful force, connecting people together and journeying to heights of emotions high and low.
His albums have found commercial success, with radioplay across North America and as far as Asia, as well as stellar reviews. As with the rest of his albums, The Metronomad writes and composes all the lyrics and music, including the vocals and performance of nearly all of the instruments showcased, leading LLC Records to describe The Metronomad as "an extremely talented singer, songwriter, and composer. His albums have ranged a variety of genres, from folk to indie rock to a Hindi-English fusion album with fellow Canadian-Pakistani music Niz, a founding member of the acclaimed band Samaa.
